The Settlement is funded by the generous donations of individuals and businesses. All contributions are used to support our operation as a living-history museum and fulfill our mission of historic preservation. The Settlement is a 501 (c)(3) organization, so contributions are tax deductible.
Legacy Fund: All contributions to the legacy fund go directly into our endowment. The endowment is an important part of the budget. In an endowment, only the interest from the money is used, so your gift will essentially last forever. Planned giving can be arranged by contacting the staff of the Settlement.
Corporate Sponsorship: Corporations have always been great supporters of the Settlement. Your business can contribute to the Settlement by sponsoring one of our events, or contributing much needed materials to our facilities. Please call today for current sponsorship packages.
Membership: When you become a member, you do more than simply make a financial contribution. When you become a member, you support our preservation of the history of the Florida Panhandle from the 1820s to the end of World War II. Without members, this preservation would not be possible. In addition, members receive free admission to events and receive the Settlement's newsletter, The Pioneer Times. Membership levels are:
